There's not much to say about this song.. It's pretty darn obvious that Brittney Spears wants to go home with someone, and not for some pie! The message isn't necessarily 'HIDDEN', but you should be able to get the jyst of things.

Us and the Media

Everyone can be influenced by advertising, both positively and negatively. Advertisements may cheer us up, or show us things that can improve our life. They could also make us feel like dirt, or make us want to pick up unhealthy habits.

-How we dress? When we see new clothes on commercials, or in magazines, we want them. especially if they're nice, or if that's whats "in".

-How we behave and speak? Most of us try and copy what the media portrays. For example, if the media is trying show that being mean is cool, many of us may act like that.

-How we feel about ourselves? The media usually buts beautiful, attractive people in Ad's. This makes people think they need to look better, and they become self conscious.

-How we spend our time and money? The media and advertisers want us to want to buy, and try things. Their objective is to get sales, and they do. If they make something look interesting and fun, we just might go do, or buy it.

-Our health related choices? Different Ad's will show us different things, some may try to convince us that smoking is cool, some may say the opposite. Usually the better Ad would win us over, unless we know right from wrong.

Mass media influences my life by showing me what may be "cool", or up to date. It's helped developed my style, and the way I act.

Racist KFC Video?

In Australia KFC created a commercial that many people said was racist. But is it really? The stereotype that African American people like chicken is fairly well known... In America. This commercial is not American, it's Australian! Maybe if this commercial was directed at African Americans, it would be racist. The people are not even African in this commercial! And I'm pretty sure any race of people would love some juicy KFC at a cricket game, i know i would! See the commercial below.

Txting in School

Why can't we txt in school? Because cell phones "distract" us. Because they "have nothing to do with school". They're good enough reasons, but we still insist on doing it, and getting in trouble. In my school, the first time we get our phones taken away, we get them at the end of the day, no questions asked. The second time they get taken away, our parents have to come to the school and pick it up for you. I recently got it taken away for the third time, and my mom had to pick it up, and as a punishment, i currently have an in-school suspension. I am actually typing this post in the office right now. And even after this, im very sure i wont stop txting in school, and i know that i shouldn't. I only think the school should learn how to punish students better. Even with fights, i got suspended 3 days (out of-school) for fighting. Thats not bad though, i think in school suspensions are bullshit, no matter what you did. But i guess i will defend txting in school, like all the other kids. If we were allowed to txt in school, we would be very quiet, but theres not really any other reason to WHY we should be ABLE to txt in school. I know its wrong, and we shouldn't do it, but we do it anyways. Sometimes just to be bad.

Tyrone Biggums

Tyrone Biggums is the... best of Dave Chapelles characters, his sketches are hilarious!

Tyrone is a major crack head that will do anything for his next fix, even suck a dick. Hes spoken at schools for drug awareness also (not very effective). I like to consider Tyrone as a male role model in my life, he has encouraged me to try new things and express myself in new ways, just kidding actually, he may be funny but he is a bad person. He is quite known for the famous quote, "i want some crack nigga!!!". You may see him lifting buses to pick up nickles, getting high on crack, getting high on red balls, giving drug awareness speeches to children, and even competing on fear factor. We can all admit that Mr. Biggums is one of our heros, no matter what.

Rickyism's

We all love when Ricky mumbles and fumbles on his words, right? When he gets to talking, or gets to excited, he starts screwing up. For example, on the episode when Ricky applies for assistant trailerpark supervisor, he says "what the hell are khaki pants" pronounced like ka-hi-ki. And we all know Ricky cant really pronounce jalapeno. even though we know Ricky's a total idiot, we all still love him. And remember, "what comes around is all around!!"

Countdown To Liquor Day!!!!!!

Trailer park boys countdown to liquor day looks.... EPIC, i cant wait!!!




TPB: countdown to liquor day comes to theaters September 25 2009!!!!

In the sequel to the first movie, the boys get out of jail to find out that Lahey has completely changed Sunnyvale, in a good way, and he hasn't touched a drop of booze for a whole 2 years (surprising right?). Well, with the boys return, Lahey is under a lot of stress and it seems that everything is going down the drain as the boys go broke and Lahey starts drinking again (not surprising...). So, the boys will of course have to resort to what they do best.... committing crimes (also, very unsurprising....). this movie is sure to be a long intense shit ride down the crazy shit slide.
